With Love, From Grandma
|
A man came to us with a diamond cluster ring he had inherited from his mother. He wanted to share this one precious heirloom among his mother's six granddaughters. Each came in and designed her own ring using her share of the diamonds and created a memento, unique to herself, that she would wear and cherish and one day pass on to the next generation. With the gold and four tiny diamonds—all that the son kept for himself—we made a ring for him.
What do you do if there is no ready-made ring unique enough to symbolize your love? What If the perfect ring for her doesn't exist in any on-line catalogue or jewellery store showcase? We designed a completely unconventional blue diamond ring with our client, based on what he told us about the girl he wanted to marry. Pictures of her hiking, dirt-biking, and dressed for a costume party gave us an idea of her lifestyle and her adventurous sense of design. The result is an engagement ring that she will treasure, knowing that her fiancé put a lot of thought, effort and love into designing something as unique as she is.

Something Blue |

The Perfect Fit |
A gentleman in his 80's came to us, absolutely smitten with love. He wanted to get a ring for the lady he intended to marry, but not something too traditional. Both had lost spouses in the past, and they felt blessed and lucky to find each other. He knew she loved the colour blue, so he chose a magnificent sapphire from our collection and presented this to her when he proposed, then they came in to design her engagement ring together. The bride-to-be had arthritic fingers, so the ring was made with a hinged shank, engineered by SuperFit so that it fit her perfectly without having to go over her knuckle.
